Lucy Maroncha

I am a Kenyan freelance journalist based in Nairobi. I have more than 15 years' experience in print and online reporting for both local and international media outlets. I have worked for Kenya’s main daily newspapers and I also do many media-consultancies for magazines. I am a passionate health writer with a special interest in writing about marginalised groups. I am also a candid HIV activist and advocate for the rights of sex workers and the LGBT community. I enjoy public speaking engagements and the opportunity to present a positive bias on issues affecting marginalised groups. I am a founder member and the secretary of the Network of Journalists living with HIV in the Kenya chapter.
