The African Development Fund (ADF) through the Southern African Development Community (SADC) is to support Zimbabwe’s Control of Communicable Diseases (CD) project.

SADC has received financing from the ADF for the supply and installation of laboratory and ICT equipment for Zimbabwe laboratories.

According to the SADC secretariat, other support will include the supply and installation of generators, fire fighting equipment and medical refrigerators.

The CD project focuses on the control of HIV, TB and malaria.
