Life on Hopely Farm, Zimbabwe

January 18, 2013 Country Zimbabwe Filed under Health 1 Comments

Pictures taken by Josiah Dimbo showing life around Hopely Farm in Zimbabwe, a resettlement area just outside Harare with between 7,000 and 10,000 internally displaced people.

  • Little Pelagia, of Hopely Farm at play in a pool of dirty stagnant water. Pelagia appears unaware of how hazardous this may be to her health.
  • A vegetable vendor from Hopely Farm. Vending activities are rife in this settlement, raising fears of people in the area contracting typhoid and cholera.
