Uganda: Married people should desist from engaging in multiple sexual partners so as to have an AIDS free society.

A survey recently done by Uganda AIDS Commission indicates close to 90% of new infections in adults occur in those who engage in multiple sexual relations.

Christine Areo Aruo, a counsellor at The AIDS Support Organisation in Soroti says married partners should have open communication about sexual and other bedroom affairs so as to curb prevalence rates.

Recently, Christine Ondoa, the health minister, said HIV infection remains a significant problem for the country.
