    • KCs & maternal health

By documenting individual stories and local or national campaigns, KCs have increased community and civil society understanding of the connection between HIV and the death of women during childbirth.

    • KCs & National Partnership Platforms

Many KCs represent the views of their communities on National Partnership Platforms (NPPs), national alliances of civil society organisations, which come together to share information, ideas and strategies on how to more effectively respond to HIV, AIDS, TB and other health issues.

    • KCs & the Global Fund

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has committed US$ 21.7 billion in 150 countries to support large-scale prevention, treatment and care programs. As part of the Fund’s 2011 Partnership Forum consultation, KCs were commissioned to interview communities in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean to hear their views on the Fund’s work in these regions.
